What is Seen, What is Not Seen

Part of V&A July Friday Late, this live performance by choreographer Dickson Mbi and Osman Yousefzada, overseen by creative producer Farooq Chaudhry, is a mediation on the celebration of Pakistan’s independence, the passage of time, and the moments that shape us, as people, nations and cultures. The work features lyrics from a 17th Century poem by Sultan Bahu performed by Pakistani singer Asif Ali Khan and an original composition by French composer Armand Amar. Costumes by Osman Yousefzada. Supported by the British Council and Skye Blue Productions.
