Traditionally, the twelfth day of Christmas (5 January) is the day to take down the Christmas decorations and put the tree out. This series of photographs are of Christmas trees after they have fulfilled their “destiny” and hopefully brought light, colours and joy to a home and guarded, in their shadows, pleasant and well deserved presents.
