Khyam Allami debut CD/DVD “Resonance/ Dissonance” DVD recording and launch live performances.
When Khyam asked me to photograph the DVD recording session at some godforsaken warehouse, neither of us knew what we were going to do with the photos. He wanted some documents of the recording session, so I went there with two bags full of kits and no expectation (to avoid any later disappointments!). The recording went well, Khyam loved the photos and he decided to “fill the whole booklet” with them.
The photographs collection also includes live performances for the album launch at SOAS on 4 May 2011. Khyam also performed a couple of the tracks as part of the Ziggurat Builders evening at St. Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace on 3 June 2011.
… the photos are so cool I want to use them all somehow somewhere! I’d like to fill the whole booklet with photos.
